Location: South Central Manitoba (Altona)

Join Paterson Grain as a Facility Assistant in Morris, MB, where you will handle grain operations and ensure safe facility maintenance. This role demands hands-on work in diverse conditions.

As a Facility Assistant, you will engage in all aspects of grain handling, including receiving, storage, blending, and loading operations.

Your role will also include monitoring grain conditions and maintaining safety standards within our facilities. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working at heights and physically capable of lifting 25kg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle receiving, storage, blending, and loading of grain

• Monitor stored grain conditions diligently

• Maintain and clean grain facilities and equipment

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs

• Undertake other assigned duties as necessary

Requirements:

• Experience with grain cleaning is advantageous

• Background in agriculture and farm equipment preferred

• Must be available for evening and weekend shifts

• Previous grain elevator experience is a plus

• Strong mechanical aptitude is beneficial
