Mig​/Tig Welder Position at G&W

G&W Electric is hiring a Mig/Tig Welder for afternoon shifts who excels in complex assembly welding. Bring your detail-oriented approach to high-strength production tasks.

This role requires a Welder with a minimum of two years of experience and a strong background in interpreting technical drawings.

You'll work with various metals and alloys while ensuring high safety and quality standards are met. Additionally, you will engage in preventive maintenance and contribute to team training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align, square, and tack weld using hand and power tools

• Select electrodes and regulate gas for welding processes

• Operate cranes and forklifts safely as needed

• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets specifications

• Document production and quality forms accurately

Requirements:

• 2+ years manufacturing experience with welding training

• Proficient in Mig and Tig welding techniques

• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Must be physically fit to lift and carry heavy parts
