EO-NO-General Labourer

Position: EO-NO-176 General Labourer (2 positions)
Location: Algoma, Sudbury District and Greater Sudbury (Chelmsford)

1 Full time position:
Monday to Thursday 6am-3:30pm and Friday 6am – 2:30pm
Execute daily work tasks provided by direct supervisor or management
Assist with sort line operation   Prepare units for sorting
Ensure ‘outs’ material is piled
Operate lumber stacker and outfeed chains
Prepare strapping material (i.e. Cutting Banding, Placing Dunnage)
Assist with wrap bay operations   Operate handheld tools (i.e. Pneumatic Stapler, Stinger Cap Stapler, Hammer-Tac, Utility knife)
End tag units as required
Assist with the wrapping of units (i.e. Cutting Tarps, Securing Tarps)
Assist with receiving operations   Unit tagging inbound product
Operate electric banding tools
Operate RF scanner
Other Duties as Required   WHIMIS 2015 – Training Provided
Opinion able machine training pathways
Optional Joint Health and Safety Committee involvement
The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and reference verification prior to employment.
