Take on the role of Plant Operator with Scotts Miracle-Gro, operating heavy equipment to facilitate effective material preparation and logistics. Contribute to product management and operational safety in a team environment.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will utilize your skills in handling Powered Industrial Trucks and other machinery. Your responsibilities will include preparing organic mixes, managing stock piles, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Adherence to safety standards and operational protocols will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move and load materials using heavy machinery

• Prepare organic mixes and manage stockpiles

• Assure accurate shipments free of damages

• Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on PIT

• Keep accurate operational records for inventory

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of relevant equipment operation experience

• Proficient in basic math for operational tasks

• Effective communication skills for recording purposes

• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

• Assist with inventory audits as necessary
