Shifts- Afternoon Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM (woodshop experience required).

- Experience on a combi style forklift and overhead crane is a bonus
- Helping the senior loaders load trucks by placing wood blocks between the skids
- Picking trim or small parts for the truckloads (ex. Screws, closures, etc.)
- Closing in the crates of finished product using a nail gun
- Wrapping finished trim using the cardboard wrapping machine or by putting larger bundles of product into crates
- Helping to build crates which would involve the use of nail guns or saws
- Might help a press brake operator by assisting them with handling the product and putting the product into the machine in order to bend it properly
- Checking the racks to ensure that product for the next day deliveries has not been missed
- Looking at the quality of outgoing product and notifying a supervisor if any QC issues are noticed
- Lift 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for continuous periods of time throughout the shift
- Willing to be flexible in duties and support multiple departments
- Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times;
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency;
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day;
- Experience as a General Labourer or in a related manufacturing role is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
