Position: Labourer for Wood Processing Operations

Take on a vital role as a Labourer in wood processing, specifically in a busy sawmill. This position focuses on efficient lumber production in an onsite environment.

You will undertake a variety of physical tasks, including operating machinery and handling wood products. The job requires strong manual skills and endurance for repetitive actions. Engage directly with lumber and contribute to the production process in a challenging but fulfilling setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and feed machinery with wood products

• Load and transport wood materials efficiently

• Sort, pile, and move processed lumber

• Clear scrap lumber and maintain equipment

• Ensure cleanliness in work areas and machines

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is mandatory

• Experience ranging between 1 and 7 months preferred

• Capable of lifting and handling up to 30 lbs (13.5 kg)

• Willing to work in a noisy and dusty environment

• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required
