Manage Woodpecker’s Exshaw production floor near Canmore, coordinating crews, schedules, materials, and technical production requirements.
This Floor Manager position connects the Production Manager with a six-to-ten-person floor team. You will maintain operational efficiency while coordinating with drafting, project management, installation, and CNC specialists. The position requires proven shop leadership, strong technical understanding, and precise communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as liaison between management and floor personnel
- Maintain clear communication and timely production execution
- Coordinate cut orders, timber processing, and machine scheduling
- Align shop schedules with project timelines
- Respond to site requests and field adjustments
- Five or more years running production shop operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and direct teams
- Strong technical background in production processes
- Experience reading engineered drawings and technical plans
- First Aid and WHMIS certifications considered assets
