Support grain receiving and storage operations as a Scale Room Help employee in Rodney, Ontario. Operate equipment, inspect trucks, and maintain clean work areas.
The Andersons seeks a Scale Room Help employee for full-time grain operations work. The position involves receiving, storing, cleaning, packaging, and shipping grain. Duties are clearly defined and completed with close supervision, making minimal job-related experience appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect trucks by performing grain probing activities
- Operate grain handling equipment at truck dumps
- Operate grain receiving equipment during deliveries
- Complete general housekeeping and bin cleanup activities
- Support grain receiving, storage, packaging, and shipping operations
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Previous grain operations experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
- Climb, stoop, and kneel at heights up to 180 feet
