BCI is looking for a Senior Advisor, Corporate Reporting & Measurement for a 24-month fixed term. This 24-month opportunity can be based in either our Victoria or Vancouver office, with a strong preference for Victoria, and includes all benefits available to permanent employees.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Reporting & Digital Platforms, the Senior Advisor, Corporate Reporting & Measurementdrives content production and execution for BCI's corporate publications and various special projects. They alsoassistwith project management and support the implementation and maintenance of the communications measurement framework.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Global Communications functionoperateswithin the Office of the COO and plays a crucial role inmaintainingand enhancing BCI's relationships with its clients and stakeholders through world-class strategic engagement. Global Communicationsis responsible formanaging BCI's brand, reputation, media relations, global profile, and industry partnerships. The function communicates effectively with both internal and external audiences,representing
BCI's interests and strategic priorities. Overall, the Global Communications function is vital for ensuring stakeholder satisfaction, organizational alignment, reputation protection, and the organization's long-term success.
WHAT YOU BRING
Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, business, or related field
5+ years of progressive experience in communications, content production, or corporate reporting, in the investment or financial sector
Experience supporting the production of corporate publications and reports (e.g., annual reports, stewardship reports); knowledge of brand standards and regulatory requirements
Effective communication skills, including strong writing and editing abilities, attention to detail, and experience in multi-media communication
Strong project managementand organizationalskills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
Experience with communications measurement and data analysis; ability to interpret and analyze data to inform strategies
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiencyin using AI tools and software for content creation, analysis, and distribution is a strong asset
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Content Production & Execution
Supportsthe Manager in the comprehensive production cycle and distribution of BCI’scorporate publications and associated communications materials, including the Corporate Annual Report (CAR), Stewardship Report, and Investment Inventory Report
Supports the Manager withproject management, actively contributing to content preparation, coordinating inputs, and ensuring adherence to brand standards and regulatory requirements
Leadscontent planning and production for various initiatives,andgeneratesmaterials for Global Investments Communications and Employee Communications asrequired,includingdrafting, editing, and producing compelling content in various formats to support communication objectives
Keeps abreast of relevant industry-specific AI capabilities/best practices
Project Support & Coordination
Executesspecific tasks and workstreams within special one-off projects, such as ad-hoc corporate communications campaigns, large multi-media projects, and improvement initiatives, under the direction of the Manager
Contributesto project plans, managing deadlines for assigned components, and ensuring successful delivery ofallocatedresponsibilities
Performance & Reporting Support
Supportsthe Manager in implementing andmaintainingthe communications measurement framework
Collectsand compilesdata,assistswith preliminary analysis of trends, and helpsprepare reports…
