Communications & Marketing Specialist Corner Brook

Location: Central Newfoundland (Bishops Falls)

The City of Corner Brook seeks a Digital Communications & Marketing Coordinator to enhance its digital outreach and branding strategy. This role focuses on producing digital content and supporting community engagement initiatives.

You will report to the City Clerk and manage daily content for the City’s website and social media platforms. Your creativity will drive the design of promotional materials and digital assets while maintaining consistent brand standards. Participation in city events will also be part of your role, sharing coverage and promoting initiatives through visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the City’s digital and social media content

• Create promotional graphics, videos, and materials

• Design informative print and digital collateral

• Support various marketing efforts for city programs and initiatives

• Capture and share event photos on social media

Requirements:

• Proven experience in digital communications

• Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in editing tools

• Excellent written communication abilities

• Flexibility to attend events outside regular hours

• Knowledge of community engagement strategies
