Location: Rideau Lakes area (Kemptville)

This role involves strategizing media relations and acting as a resource for regional units and command staff. Your skill set should include writing and editing high-impact communications as well as coaching spokespeople for effective messaging. You will also engage in public events and media management for relevant issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct media relations and public engagement activities

• Draft and edit communication materials for clarity and impact

• Support community events and training sessions for media strategies

Requirements:

• Ontario driver’s license for travel to events and training

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and online tools for content production

• Strong understanding of policing and relevant media issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to pass comprehensive OPP background checks
