NexGold Community Relations Co-op Student

Join Nex Gold as a Community Relations Co-op Student at the Goldboro Gold Project. This role supports community engagement, administrative duties, and Indigenous relations in a hybrid work environment.

Reporting to the Community Relations Manager, this co-op opportunity involves proactive engagement with local community members, Mi’kmaq communities, and various stakeholders. You will help organize events, prepare community materials, and travel within Nova Scotia to foster relationships and deliver communication effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning community meetings and workshops

• Draft meeting notes, reports, and correspondence

• Maintain stakeholder lists and engagement metrics

• Participate in outreach initiatives and community visits

• Provide on-site support during engagement activities

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a relevant co-op post-secondary program

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Access to reliable transportation for travel

• Proficient in digital communication tools

• Available to work occasional evenings or weekends
