Senior Qualitative Research Director

Location: Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County & Prince Edward County (Picton)

Lead qualitative research strategy at MERGE, using study design, moderation, and strategic storytelling in a hybrid work model. Shape health and wellness insights through human-first marketing.
As Senior Qualitative Insight Director, you will independently guide projects from design through delivery while coaching strategists. You will write proposals, create discussion guides, moderate interviews and online engagements, analyze themes, and build strategic reports. Client relationships remain central to success.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver projects on time against client objectives
Design studies and write research proposals
Moderate interviews, groups, Communities, and Remesh engagements
Connect emerging themes to broader strategic stories
Mentor strategists and innovate research processes
Requirements:
Seven-plus years moderating and delivering client work
Market research or agency experience
Strong strategic thinking, writing, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel and flex scheduling
Commitment to required training and healthcare regulations
Bring qualitative moderation, strategic analysis, and client leadership to MERGE’s health and wellness research practice.
