Marketing Specialst

Location: East Haldimand County (Waterdown)

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and working closely with the Principal Product Specialist, this role will drive product innovation, ensure brand alignment, and elevate our social media presence.

SPECIFIC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee website updates and routine maintenance.

Maintain and elevate Hendriks' social media presence.

Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and marketing materials.

Develop new trend boards and themes for product lines.

Create new product samples, catalogs, tags, flyers, and marketing materials.

Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.

Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive product innovation.

Develop and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals

Coordinate cross-functionally with production, greenhouse, marketing, and sales teams.

Define and document clear product requirements, features, and specifications.

Manage the product development lifecycle, including timelines, resources, and budgets.

Work with sales and production to translate ideas into prototypes and final products.

Oversee product testing and quality assurance prior to launch.

Gather and analyze user feedback for continuous product improvement.

Plan and execute product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales training.

Monitor post-launch product performance, sales metrics, customer satisfaction, and market reception.

Ensure products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Print house printer operation programs (e.g., Fiery Command Work Station)

Other Skills and Knowledge

College/bachelors degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or relevant program required

Strong understanding of digital marketing, graphic design and content creation

Ability to lead the design and production of marketing materials, with a strong attention to detail and ensuring consistency with the Hendrik's brand identity

Strong project management, prioritization and organizational abilities

Self motivated, proactive, resourceful, and results driven

Customer focus with strong communications skills and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships

Ability and interest in staying up to date with digital technology and social media trends
