Position: Humboldt Community Program Builder Role
Location: Igloolik

Become a Community Program Builder with the Saskatchewan Health Authority in Humboldt. This permanent part-time role involves empowering marginalized groups through community connections and life skills training.

In this position, you will work directly with diverse community members to help them transition from reliance on support programs to self-empowerment. Applicants should have a minimum of one year of relevant experience, particularly in social or community services, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with community members to facilitate empowerment

• Develop and implement life skills programs

• Build partnerships with local service organizations

• Organize community events and outreach initiatives

• Record participant progress and program effectiveness

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Grade 12 education

• One year of relevant experience in family or social services

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Basic computer skills for program administration

• Knowledge of issues related to poverty and community engagement
