First Congregational Church Senior Pastor

Location: Northwest Newfoundland/Eastern Labrador (Mary's Harbour)

Become the Senior Pastor of First Congregational Church of Woodstock, leading the congregation in deep spiritual growth through preaching and community outreach.

This role emphasizes creating and delivering sermons that inspire and educate church members. You will also oversee worship services in collaboration with the Music Director, ensuring alignment with Reformed Evangelical doctrine. Furthermore, providing pastoral care and facilitating community engagement will be key responsibilities in nurturing a supportive church environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver impactful sermons weekly

• Teach through Bible studies and discipleship sessions

• Offer counseling and pastoral support to families

• Supervise ministry staff and work with church committees

• Engage with the local community and promote outreach efforts

Requirements:

• A committed disciple of Jesus Christ

• Agreement with Reformed Evangelical theology

• Experience in preaching and leadership roles

• Theological training or ordination in pastoral ministry

• Strong skills in communication and organization
