Position: Senior Pastor with Focus on Discipleship
Location: Huron (Wingham)

Lead First Baptist Church in Mount Forest as a Senior Pastor specializing in discipleship and community service. Your leadership will help foster spiritual growth and deepen congregational bonds.

We are in search of a Senior Pastor passionate about preaching and ministering to a vibrant congregation of 120-160 members. The suitable candidate will have over three years of ministry leadership and preferably a Master of Divinity Degree. This role emphasizes community outreach and the development of biblically-focused programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, biblically-based sermons during worship

• Plan services in collaboration with church leadership

• Offer pastoral care, including counseling and visitation

• Lead small group ministries and promote discipleship

• Develop strategic plans for church leadership growth

Requirements:

• 3+ years of ministry leadership experience

• Master of Divinity Degree or equivalent

• Willingness to obtain CBOQ accreditation

• Proven skills in community relationship building

• Experience mentoring church volunteers and staff
