Position: Community Services Program Coordinator Role
Location: Riding Mountain (Neepawa)

Make a difference in community services as a Program Coordinator with The Salvation Army. This role focuses on program oversight, volunteer management, and community needs assessment.

In this position, you will work under the Community Ministries Director to implement and evaluate community programs like the Food Bank and Thrift Store. Engage with volunteers, assess client needs, and deliver strategic planning to develop impactful services. Your involvement will ensure the smooth running of various initiatives throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in strategic planning for community programming

• Track and celebrate volunteer hours and milestones

• Assess community needs and develop new program strategies

• Coordinate resources and client referrals for support

• Maintain compliance with operational policies and regulations

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in community services

• Formal post-secondary education (minimum 2 years)

• Active Manitoba Class “5” Driver’s License

• Availability of First Aid/CPR certifications

• Knowledge of community networks
