We are seeking dedicated nurses to join our Wheatbelt Population Health teams located in Northam, Merredin, Moora and Narrogin

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, and Fixed Term Full Time, Permanent Part Time, and Fixed Term Part Time with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Casual appointments may also be considered.

About the OPPORTUNITY

In consultation with the Clinical Nurse Manager Community Health plans, implements and evaluates community nursing care (in the area of school health, community health) and relevant primary health programs to the communities serviced by the Primary Health Service.

To be successful in this role, you will have…

  • Ability to apply knowledge and skills in area of clinical expertise. (Including ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate programmes at an individual and group level)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Primary Health Care
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge and understanding of current Aboriginal health issues and various community resources that may be utilised to address these issues.
  • Possession of current “C” or “C (a)” Class Drivers Licence.
