This role reports to the Manager, Renal Services, where you will work with patients experiencing chronic and acute renal failure. You will establish therapeutic relationships while collaborating with a diverse healthcare team. The position requires thorough assessments and promoting patient education to support informed choices and self-care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nursing care for patients on hemodialysis

• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal care

• Assess bio-psycho-social needs of patients

• Facilitate patient and family education

• Evaluate and plan comprehensive care strategies

Requirements:

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Recent experience in hemodialysis preferred

• Successful completion of nephrology training

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
