This role involves supervising Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers while collaborating with directors to implement policies effectively. You'll be responsible for monitoring residents' health, documenting changes, and coordinating with external healthcare providers. Strong skills in geriatric care and a commitment to excellence are essential to thrive in this environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the nursing team and care processes

• Implement Age Care policies and procedures

• Collaborate with physicians on care plans

• Document health changes accurately in records

• Ensure proper administration of medications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is essential

• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing

• Understanding of applicable health laws

• Good standing with provincial nursing association

• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
