Elevate your nursing career as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Operating Room, working temporarily part-time in Huron and Perth. Engage in preoperative to postoperative client care and maximize patient support.

This part-time position with the Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance is set to begin in August 2026 and extend through February 2028. You will play a vital role in surgical patient care, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients. Your responsibilities include adhering to professional practice standards, coordinating with healthcare teams, and managing medical equipment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate adherence to CNO's professional practice standards

• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff

• Observe and record patient behavior with precision

• Administer medications and treatments safely

• Contribute to comprehensive care plans from admission to discharge

Requirements:

• CNO registration required for practice in Ontario

• Diploma from a recognized nursing college

• Completion of BCLS and NRP certifications

• One year of nursing experience in OR or PACU preferred

• Ability to perform well under physical and mental demands
