Family Practice Nurse in Sherwood Park

Location: Sherwood Park West

Provide essential nursing services at the Sherwood Park – Strathcona County PCN as a Family Practice Nurse. Collaborate with patients and physicians to implement effective care plans and manage diverse clinical conditions.

In this role, you will utilize your LPN designation while working within a family practice environment. Key responsibilities include performing injections, educating patients on diabetes and prenatal care, and assisting physicians during various procedures. You will conduct assessments, manage patient care, and navigate health services for patients while fostering strong professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform injections, dressing changes, and Pap tests

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team

• Assist in developing patient self-management programs

• Conduct assessments and provide follow-up care

• Educate patients on managing clinical conditions

Requirements:

• LPN designation registered with CLHA in Alberta

• Three years of related nursing experience

• Current BLS Provider certification

• Experience in a team-focused healthcare setting

• Strong communication and prioritization skills
