Position: Community Licensed Practical Nurse Role
Location: Victoria

Enhance patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse with The Salvation Army, working in community and acute healthcare. This role involves providing nursing services and support to individuals with stable health statuses.

As a Level 1 Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for performing nursing duties as defined by the regulatory body and employer policies. Collaboration with RNs is key when care needs exceed LPN scope. Your position also entails providing safety information and guiding new team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing interventions under LPN guidelines

• Coordinate health services and assist with daily living

• Administer medications with strict adherence to protocols

• Share relevant health information with patients and families

• Participate in safety programs and mentor new staff

Requirements:

• Graduation from an established LPN program

• Current full practicing licensure in BC

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to efficiently use various computer applications

• Physical capability to meet job demands
