Licensed Practical Nurse

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse at Extendicare
Location: Kananaskis Country (Claresholm)

Enrich lives as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Extendicare's Fort Macleod Home in Alberta. This part-time role offers flexible shifts for compassionate professionals to provide meaningful care.

As a vital member of Extendicare's LPN team, you'll develop and evaluate resident care plans while also offering leadership to personal care staff. Your responsibilities will include medication delivery, wound care, and effective communication with physicians and RNs, ensuring high-quality care across the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individual resident care plans

• Supervise and evaluate personal care staff performance

• Assist in training and orienting new team members

• Provide medication delivery and medical nursing treatments

• Communicate efficiently with physicians and team members

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta

• Up-to-date CPR-Health Care Provider certification

• Excellent English communication skills

• Compassionate and professional demeanor

• Commitment to lifelong learning and mentorship
