Position: Registered Nurse at Vanier Children’s Mental Wellness

Join Vanier Children’s Mental Wellness as a Registered Nurse, providing essential medical care to children in need. This full-time in-person role is vital for delivering mental health support and medical oversight.

In this position, you will address the medical needs of children by providing direct nursing care and coordinating medical provisions with families and community professionals. We're looking for a certified nurse with experience in child care and mental health to join our team dedicated to improving the emotional and behavioral outcomes of youth. Your expertise will be instrumental in consultations and in offering guidance across the agency’s diverse clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage client medical history and concerns

• Coordinate triage and follow-up care with physicians

• Train staff on safe medication handling and compliance

• Assess injuries and respond to emergencies

• Document and oversee medical compliance standards

Requirements:

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 2+ years nursing experience, child-focused

• Training in mental health and behavior management

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Completion of TB test and broad record check
