Pediatric Nurse RN​/LPN

Position: 1:1 Pediatric Nurse RN/LPN Needed
Location: Omineca and Yellowhead (Smithers)

Assist with specialized 1:1 pediatric care as an RN or LPN. Provide compassionate support for a teenage client with complex medical needs in a flexible home care environment.

This casual part-time role focuses on delivering quality care to a palliative teenage girl struggling with dystonia and epilepsy. Applicants must possess strong communication skills and a capability for independent work while ideally having pediatric nursing experience. The position offers a variety of shifts in both home and school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized 1:1 nursing care

• Manage Gtube feeds and seizure care

• Deliver comfort and emotional support

• Engage with family communications effectively

• Keep accurate nursing documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Current registration with BCCNP/BCCNM required

• CPR ‘C’ certification or higher

• Preferred 3 months of pediatric nursing experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrate independent working capabilities
