Position: REGISTERED NURSE (RN), OPERATING ROOM
Location: Omineca and Yellowhead (Smithers)

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator of the Operating Room, the staff nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital mission statement. The role is defined by the needs of the Hospital, a select patient/family population, agency expectations and the goals for professional nursing practice.

Shift Rotation/Hours of Work

Days: 07:15 to 15:15, 07:45 to 15:45, 08:45 to 16:45, 09:30 to 17:30, 10:00 to 18:00, Rotating.

Staff participate in mandatory rotating on-call for weekdays and weekends per month, as well as OR/PARR/daycare surgery rotations.

Weekends that are not on call would have the standard Sun, Sat and STATs off.
