As part of Northern Health’s patient-centered model, the Emergency Registered Nurse will provide direct care to patients facing a variety of conditions, from urgent to life-threatening. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a dynamic setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for diverse patient conditions

• Assess and evaluate patient care plans in emergency settings

• Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated care

• Apply nursing science and ethical frameworks in practice

• Adhere to BCCNM standards and professional guidelines

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

• Current BCCNM registration

• Completed Emergency Nursing specialty program

• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory

• Commitment to evidence-based patient care
