Your role in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) will involve critical patient assessments and collaborative care.

Fraser Health is actively seeking skilled nurses for the PACU. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess post-anaesthetic patients and implement nursing interventions. Your ability to communicate effectively with healthcare teams and coordinate care will be vital for patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess post-anaesthetic patients using various evaluation methods

• Provide nursing care aligning with physician and anaesthetist orders

• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks among support staff

• Document patient observations and interventions meticulously

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM

• One year of recent clinical nursing experience

• Proficiency in initiating Intravenous Therapy

• Demonstrated ability to assess patient acuity changes
