Primary health care nurse/nursing and family practice nurse/nursing.

Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
1 to less than 7 months.

Tasks
Assist health care practitioners during examinations or treatments
Engage in community program development
Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition
Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
Conduct disease screening
Deliver health education programs
Deliver immunization programs
Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
Engage in research activities related to nursing
Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice
Provide nursing care
Provide supportive counselling and life skills programming
Perform administrative tasks
