Position: Registered Psychiatric Nurse - Graduate Role

Become a vital part of Prairie Mountain Health as a Graduate Registered Psychiatric Nurse. This nursing position focuses on providing comprehensive patient care in line with established standards.

As a Nurse II at Prairie Mountain Health, you will deliver care while adhering to the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics and relevant provincial standards. This role requires up-to-date licensure with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) and proficiency in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). You will support patients with mental health needs while ensuring the highest clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients based on established policies

• Adhere to the ethical standards of practice for Registered Psychiatric Nurses

• Maintain ongoing competencies required for the role

• Support patients adhering to the Canadian Nurses Association guidelines

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the employing facility

Requirements:

• Graduate active licensure from CRPNM required

• Successful completion of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Effective problem-solving and organizational skills

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
