Position: Southern Health RN/RPN for Transitional Care
Location: South Interlake (MacGregor)

Join Southern Health-Santé Sud as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, focusing on Transitional Care. Utilize your nursing skills to empower patient health and well-being.

This role requires an engaged RN/RPN who applies the nursing process adeptly in varied health settings, including Transitional Care, Personal Care Homes, and Home Care Services. Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities while fostering a supportive environment for patients. Continuously educate yourself to meet professional standards and uphold ethical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver acute and transitional nursing care to patients

• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to provide effective solutions

• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and ethics

• Manage confidential patient information appropriately

• Show sensitivity and respect for cultural diversity

Requirements:

• Valid registration with Manitoba's nursing boards

• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle needed

• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends
