Community Health Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Victoria

Join Gordon Head Health Unit as a Licensed Practical Nurse, delivering essential community and home care in Victoria, BC. This position emphasizes patient assessments and multidisciplinary collaboration.

In this role, you will work independently while contributing to the interdisciplinary health team. You will conduct home visits, provide personal care, and develop standards for client-centered care. Your impact will extend to supporting Community Health Workers while adhering to safety and quality protocols outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct home visits and perform routine assessments

• Engage in personal care and nursing procedures

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health professionals

• Guide Community Health Workers in care delivery

• Maintain compliance with provincial nursing standards

Requirements:

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives mandatory

• Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience

• Basic Life Support, Level C certification required

• Valid BC Driver's license for site travels

• Strong commitment to continuous professional development
