Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver primary care in a hospital and outpatient setting

• Liaise with physicians for patient care quality

• Create interventions and teaching plans for clients

• Refer clients for additional services as appropriate

• Work alongside RN staff on procedure development

Requirements:

• Certification in Primary Health Care as Nurse Practitioner

• At least two years of acute care nursing experience

• CNO registration as a Registered Nurse Extended Class

• Knowledge of Indigenous health challenges

• Experience in outpost nursing is advantageous
