Bethany Care Registered Nurse Position

Location: Central Foothills (Sundre)

Join Bethany Care Society in Red Deer as a Registered Nurse, dedicated to delivering outstanding resident-centered care and support. This part-time temporary role emphasizes comprehensive assessments and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

As a Registered Nurse with Bethany, the individual will ensure adherence to professional nursing standards and practices. The role emphasizes resident-centered service excellence, effective documentation, and safety protocols. With one year of experience preferred, advanced skills in observation, communication, and leadership will contribute significantly to the Young Adults Program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote service excellence and respond to residents’ needs

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and collaborate with teams

• Record care assessments and interventions accurately

• Identify and report unsafe conditions promptly

• Lead and coach team members in clinical settings

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited institution

• Active registration with CARNA in good standing

• Experience in gerontology nursing preferred

• Current CPR certification required

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
