Director of Care at Hallowell House

Location: Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County & Prince Edward County (Picton)

Lead exceptional nursing services as the Director of Care at Hallowell House in Picton, Ontario. Oversee high-quality resident care while ensuring compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021.

In this full-time position, you will provide clinical leadership in the management of nursing and personal care services, focusing on quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

Your role includes developing care plans, coordinating staffing, and maintaining collaborative relationships with healthcare providers. Upholding the highest standards in long-term care is crucial as you support both residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage nursing staff and clinical programs effectively

• Oversee care plan development and implementation

• Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations

• Lead quality improvement and infection control initiatives

• Represent clinical concerns at resident/family council meetings

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse registration with CNO

• Minimum 5 years in clinical long-term care settings

• Knowledge of Ontario care legislation and standards

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Satisfactory police reference check
