Theatre Practitioner; AA

Position: Theatre Practitioner (AA)
Location: Brandon Region (Killarney)

Role Overview
We are recruiting theatre practitioners (Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operative Delivery Practitioner (ODP)) for day surgery/short stay theatres at Queen Margaret Hospital and Victoria Hospital. Both experienced and inexperienced applicants are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

Support theatre activities across specialties such as gynaecology, urology, general surgery, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, oral/maxillofacial, breast surgery and ENT.

Work within a multidisciplinary team, using excellent communication skills.

Maintain professional development and evidence of continuing education.

Schedule & Locations

Monday to Friday; shift patterns vary across 5 days.

Must be flexible to work across both Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

Requirements

RGN or ODP registration; experience in scrub, circulating or anaesthetics is desirable but not essential.

Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.

Legal right to work in the UK (or eligibility for sponsorship) before applying.

Salary & Working Conditions

Salary is pro rata for part‑time hours where applicable.
