Become a Registered Nurse at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in Inpatient Surgery and Active Rehab. This role emphasizes providing patient-centered care in surgical and rehabilitation contexts.

In this combined unit, you will work within a 26-bed surgical environment delivering quality care for patients undergoing Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, ENT, and General Surgery.

Your role is vital in assisting both surgical recovery and rehabilitation, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Adaptability, organization, and crisis management are crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive care for surgical and rehab patients

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor progress

• Lead care planning and adapt to patient needs

• Manage pain control and IV therapies

Requirements:

• CNO registration required

• At least two years of surgical experience needed

• Must be IV certified with current BCLS

• Preferred experience in rehabbing patients

• Proven teamwork and communication skills
