Perioperative Registered Nurse in Camrose

Location: Wainwright Region (Tofield)

Join Covenant Health as a Registered Nurse First Assistant y’s Hospital. This role focuses on providing patient-centered care within a supportive team environment in Camrose, Alberta.

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will perform nursing assessments, implement treatments, and educate patients and families. Your expertise in perioperative nursing and excellent communication skills will help ensure quality care for diverse patient groups. This casual/relief position requires a commitment to Covenant Health’s mission and values in every shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments and care planning

• Administer medications and evaluate treatment progress

• Act as patient advocate and care coordinator

• Provide patient and family education for discharge

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program

• Active registration with CRNA required

• 5 years current Operating Room experience

• Certification in Perioperative Nursing CPN(c)

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
