In this role, you'll be pivotal in ensuring high standards of resident care, observing and recording vital signs and conditions. You'll assist in evaluating and implementing personalized care plans, overseeing nursing staff, and providing crucial training. Your expertise will also guide various administrative duties, like preparing for RAI MDS and taking charge in the absence of the Director of Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain nursing standards and enforce physicians’ orders

• Develop and evaluate resident care plans effectively

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff in the unit

• Prepare the Facility for RAI MDS assessments

• Manage facility operations in the director's absence

Requirements:

• Current certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario

• First Aid and BLS certification required

• Previous managerial experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
