Pursue your nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Assisted Living Alberta, supporting clients in home care settings. This part-time role requires travel in the Chestermere and Strathmore regions.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care and manage cases across various demographic groups. The position requires collaboration with healthcare professionals, including a Registered Nurse Home Care Manager. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Emphasis is placed on utilizing critical thinking skills in the delivery of comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to home care clients

• Implement and evaluate patient care strategies

• Collaborate with healthcare team members

• Manage and document client care effectively

• Transport necessary equipment to client locations

Requirements:

• Accredited practical nurse education completion

• Registration eligibility with CLPNA

• Two years’ experience in home or acute care

• Ability to work with advanced wound care

• Current BCLS certification
