Join Extendicare as a Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Haliburton. Deliver vital patient-centered nursing care while working flexible day or evening shifts.

As a Registered Practical Nurse at Extendicare, you will be part of a dedicated health care team focused on providing optimal care in long-term environments. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to coordinate and manage resident care plans in accordance with provincial regulations. You will play a key role in ensuring assessments and documentation are precise and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct resident care and manage medication administration

• Complete clinical assessments and care/service plans

• Facilitate education for residents and families

• Respond to significant changes in resident conditions

• Assist with coordination of care and Quality/Safety Plans

Requirements:

• Current RPN registration in Ontario

• Experience in long-term care preferred

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
