Position: Registered Nurse for Long Term Care

Become an essential part of Bonavista Golden Heights Manor as a Registered Nurse in the Long Term Care Program. This temporary full-time role emphasizes holistic care, requiring expertise in various nursing fields.

As a Registered Nurse IB, you will lead and coordinate comprehensive care for elderly and vulnerable residents. Your responsibilities will involve health promotion, rehabilitative services, and collaboration with families and an interprofessional team. This position demands strong leadership, organization, and communication skills in a rewarding yet fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized care plans for residents

• Provide holistic nursing and palliative care

• Supervise and guide nursing care teams effectively

• Document care and adhere to nursing policies

• Foster relationships with residents and families for optimal care

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved nursing program required

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Newfoundland and Labrador

• Valid BLS for Health Care Providers certification

• Experience with geriatric populations preferred
