Location: Kipling
Join the Saskatchewan Health Authority team as an Advanced Clinical Nurse in Kipling, where you can impact patient health outcomes daily. This role is ideal for nurses skilled in emergency care and clinical decision-making.
Working within the General Medical Nursing Unit, you will perform diagnoses, treat disorders, and utilize electronic medical records effectively. Candidates must have a strong clinical background, ideally with experience in an Emergency Room setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing services for common medical disorders
• Implement Clinical Decision Tools in diagnostics
• Conduct minor surgical procedures when necessary
• Analyze and interpret diagnostic test results
• Manage medication prescriptions and dispensing
Requirements:
• At least one year in an Emergency Room
• Two years of relevant nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Class 5 driver's license required
• Certification: CTAS, ACLS, and PALS
