Position: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Care
Location: Moose Factory

Focused on delivering high-quality emergency care, you will conduct thorough assessments and create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. As a team-oriented professional, you will facilitate smooth transitions in care and ensure patient safety is prioritized. Your ability to critically evaluate health literature will help influence best practices across the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients presenting with emergencies

• Admit and discharge patients while ensuring care continuity

• Educate patients and families on health outcomes and follow-up needs

• Collaborate with community health services

• Assist in managing high-acuity emergencies alongside physicians

Requirements:

• NP certification and Registered Nursing Program completion

• CNO registration as RN Extended Class (RN EC)

• Minimum 5 years in acute care nursing

• 3-5 years NP experience focused on Emergency Medicine

• Engagement with Indigenous communities is advantageous
