RN​/RPN in Mental Health and Substance Use

Location: Harrison Hot Springs

Take on a transformative role as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in a specialized mental health and substance use services unit. You'll provide critical nursing care and client education.

This position requires skilled professionals to assess and manage clients facing substance use challenges, emphasizing holistic, person-centered approaches. You'll lead crisis interventions, educate clients and families, and work collaboratively with health care teams to enhance recovery outcomes. Your ability to handle emergencies and engage in therapeutic communication will be key to client success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage client substance use conditions

• Provide immediate crisis interventions and support

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health teams

• Conduct educational sessions for clients and families

• Maintain thorough documentation and care records

Requirements:

• Certification as an RN/RPN with BCCNM

• Specialized training in addiction services

• A year of experience in relevant care environments

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Driver’s License and vehicle access required
