Position: Supervisor for Resident Care Programs

Take a leadership role in resident care as a Program Supervisor. Provide support to the Director of Resident Care in a long-term care environment.

As the Program Supervisor for Resident Care, you will be integral in ensuring high-quality care for residents. Responsibilities include coordinating health services, managing emergency responses, and overseeing staff education. Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on collaborative care are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor compliance with long-term care standards

• Conduct audits and quality improvement initiatives

• Support staff training and development programs

• Ensure effective communication with families and residents

• Represent the department in inter-disciplinary committees

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of progressive experience in long-term care

• Degree in Nursing, registered with the College of Nurses

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities

• Familiarity with relevant healthcare legislation

• Capable of working in a dynamic environment
