This role in Unit 5 emphasizes teamwork within a surgery-oriented unit, where you'll provide high-quality care to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will lead care initiatives autonomously and work within established standards and protocols for optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver holistic care in collaboration with health teams

• Lead nursing efforts and ensure patient safety

• Engage actively in post-operative patient monitoring

• Follow established policies and procedures for nursing

• Assist families with healthcare-related inquiries

Requirements:

• Completion of a Practical Nursing program

• Current registration with Alberta nursing authority

• Basic Life Support certification required

• Effective communication and assessment skills

• C-Spine training considered an asset
