Emergency Registered Nurse Position

Location: Vermilion

Elevate your nursing career as a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Care at the Vermilion Health Centre. This part-time role emphasizes patient safety, advocacy, and holistic health support.

You will provide a wide spectrum of nursing services while engaging in critical thinking and decision-making to enhance patient outcomes. As a valued member of the United Nurses of Alberta, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality, patient-centered care during shifts that include days, nights, and weekends. Current registration with the CRNA and BCLS certification are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive care in emergency settings

• Advocate for patient needs and safety

• Implement nursing processes with critical assessments

• Promote health maintenance practices

• Collaborate effectively with health care teams

Requirements:

• Active registration with the CRNA

• Completion of an accredited nursing education

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Required criminal record screening

• Willingness to work varied hours including on weekends
